Purpose: This echo is a private forum for the Regional
Coordinators of Zone 1 Z1C for discussions in general, and
for discussions pertaining to business policies, and related
topics in Zone 1. Access: The Z1REGCON echo is private,
and Read and Write access is limited to Regional Coordinators
within Zone 1 and the Z1C, and is to be distributed only
via paths designated by the Zone 1 Coordinator. This echo
is not to be made public in any media, crossposted, fed
or forwarded to anyone outside of the Regional Coordinators
of Zone 1 and the Zone Coordinator. Each Regional Coordinator
may apply to the Zone Coordinator for access privileges
for one Assistant RC. The Zone Coordinator may grant or
deny such request at his or her discretion. Making the contents
of this echo public in any media, forwarding or crossposting
the contents of this echo to any system or SysOp outside

The PRIMARY purpose of this echo is to provide a centralized
forum for the discussion of Zone level elections in Fidonet
Zone 1. This included Fidonet-wide elections that affect
Zone 1 directly, Zone 1 elections for Zone level candidates
or policies affecting Zone 1. Political campaigns, as long
as they follow the rules of this echo, are allowed and encouraged.
Civil discussions of matters of concern to Fidonet presented
to Fidonet Zone 1 for a vote are encouraged. Discussion
of general matters of concern to Fidonet are permitted when
a Zone level election is not in progress. Check your flame-throwers
at the door. During a Zone-wide Zone 1 election, the Moderator
